Email | Block unwanted emails or always allow emails from certain senders in your webmail account
Learn how to add emails and/or senders to your black and whitelists.
- Navigate to https://mail.novus.ca/ and use your Novus webmail username and password to login.
- Next, select Settings on the top right side of your screen.
- On the left side, you will see the menu below. Select Spam Settings.
- You will then see the below screen, and select Show More.
- You should see the following Edit Spam Lists show up. Click on the spam list you would like to edit:
- Subject Blacklist: All emails containing blacklisted subject lines will automatically appear in your spam folder instead of your inbox.
- From Blacklist: All emails from blacklisted senders will automatically appear in your spam folder instead of your inbox.
- From Whitelist: All emails from whitelisted senders will always appear in your inbox instead of your spam folder.
Think of Blacklisted (bad) items as emails or senders that you do not wish to see content from, and Whitelisted (good) items as emails or senders that you always want to see content from.
If you have selected Subject Blacklist, enter the subject that you do not want to see and click Add. If you enter an incorrect subject line, check Remove to delete it from the blacklist.
