Call Waiting

Learn how to activate/deactivate the call waiting feature and how to answer a call while you’re on the phone.

Call waiting allows you to receive calls on another line while talking on the phone. Usually call waiting is indicated by a series of beeps.

Activating call waiting

By default, call waiting is already active

Using call waiting

Press the flash button when you hear the call waiting beeps on your phone during a call to switch lines.

Deactivating call waiting

In order to deactivate call waiting, dial *57 on your number pad.

Deactivating call waiting for the next outgoing call

Before dialing the outgoing number, dial *71 on your number pad and then dial your outgoing number.

Reactivating call waiting for the next outgoing call

Before dialing the outgoing number, dial *70 on your number pad and then dial your outgoing number.
