Stingray Music App

Feeling happy, powerful or adventurous? Working late, sleeping in or sunbathing? No matter how you’re feeling, what you’re doing or where you’re going, the Stingray Music mobile app puts the right soundtrack in the palm of your hand. The Stingray Music mobile app is available FREE for Novus customers.

Create a Stingray account to connect your profile, favourites and preferences seamlessly across all Stingray Music platforms – on your smartphone, tablet, the web and on the interactive TV app4. You’ll enjoy the same great channel lineup offered on TV on all your devices – at home and on-the-go.


Getting Started

1. DOWNLOAD
Download the Stingray Music app from iTunes or Google Play on your smartphone or tablet.

2. SIGN UP
Sign up to Stingray Music by creating a Stingray account – using your email address, or connect with Facebook.

3. AUTHENTICATE (2 ways)

With Stingray Music watermarking:

A watermark is an audio signal recognition technology that the Stingray Music mobile app uses to authenticate you without the need to enter codes. 

If you are home, you may authenticate the app with the watermark signal from your TV. 

Authentication is required every 180 days (6 months). 

With your MyNovus log-in info:

You will be granted free and unlimited access to the Stingray Music mobile app as long as you have a subscription with Novus. Tap Yes, continue with the free service and follow instructions. Use the same log-in information you use to manage your bill with Novus.

Give us the information about your current PVR, and we’ll reprogram it so it can play with our system.

Step 1 – Fill in the information below to confirm ownership of your equipment.

Step 2 – Connect your digital box to your TV, the wall cable outlet and an electrical outlet.

Step 3 – Call Novus Technical Support at 604 642 6688 to have your box reprogrammed.

I confirm that the information provided is correct, the name above is the rightful owner of the digital terminal with the serial number above. Digital terminal listed above is not subject to any lease or rental agreement, and is being re-programmed at my request.

*Please note these PVR's can only be reprogrammed if they are non-Shaw or OCAP boxes
