The Dial Tone is Not Working

There are several reasons why you may not hear a dial tone. The most common reason is that your connection to the Internet may be interrupted.

  1. Check to see if your Internet is working by opening your web browser and loading a website.
  2. If the internet is working, then you want to find the ATA modem or the router (Black tower with a lot of flashing lights at the front) – unplug the power for 10 seconds and plug back in.
  3. Wait for 5 minutes and you should hear a dial tone again.
