The Dial Tone is Not Working
There are several reasons why you may not hear a dial tone. The most common reason is that your connection to the Internet may be interrupted.
- Check to see if your Internet is working by opening your web browser and loading a website.
- If the internet is working, then you want to find the ATA modem or the router (Black tower with a lot of flashing lights at the front) – unplug the power for 10 seconds and plug back in.
- Wait for 5 minutes and you should hear a dial tone again.
