About patch panel systems

Learn how to use your in-suite patch panel to change which room your Internet comes from. 

A patch panel allows you to change the room your Internet comes from by using an Ethernet cable.

There are three different types of patch panels:

1. A wall plate patch panel
2. In-wall patch panel
3. Data jack coupler

Not all suites have patch panels, but if your suite does, you should find it in the den, solarium or storage closet.
